In the heart of Capannori, a 400 sqm contemporary villa takes shape as a bespoke sensory journey. The building brings together energy efficiency and advanced home automation within a single living environment, where design, comfort and technology coexist in complete harmony.
Clean lines and tactile warmth come together through the dialogue between herringbone oak flooring and exposed stone. On the ground floor, an expansive open-plan space features an all-black kitchen with a textured grey island and iconic lighting. Large sliding glass doors dissolve the boundaries between indoors and outdoors, opening the living area onto the garden and swimming pool with integrated whirlpool.

Upstairs, the sleeping area features suites enhanced by bespoke geometric wall panelling and colour accents ranging from forest green to terracotta. The experience continues in the attic with a dedicated fitness area and on the lower-ground floor, where an inviting entertainment space and a spa with minipool and steam room complete the home.

Lighting acts as a connecting thread throughout the spaces, controlled by an advanced home automation system that shifts from bright daytime illumination to warm, diffused light and vibrant turquoise tones reflected in the mirrors of the wellness area. Through stone, wood and technology, the villa goes beyond the conventional idea of a home to become a continuous visual and tactile experience.
The spaces dedicated to socialising unfold within a fluid open-plan layout, unified by the warmth of herringbone oak parquet flooring, which extends seamlessly throughout the interiors.
In the living area, the clean lines of the furnishings and generous proportions of the sofa contrast with the natural texture of the stone feature wall framing the contemporary fireplace. Sheer curtains filter the natural light entering through the large windows, creating a soft and relaxed atmosphere. This visual continuity leads naturally towards the open-plan kitchen, defined by carefully balanced contrasts in colour and material: the dark matt surfaces of the cabinetry and large central island are offset by a light wood dining table, illuminated by minimalist spherical pendant lights.

The vertical connections follow the same architectural language. The internal staircase features solid wood treads enhanced by integrated step lighting that traces the route upwards, set alongside the textured stone wall that defines the entire space. This balance between rustic influences and contemporary lines continues into the lower-ground entertainment area, where an imposing solid wood table is paired with an exposed stone wall and a modern botanical-patterned wallcovering, creating an intimate yet sophisticated atmosphere.
The sleeping area unfolds as a sequence of bespoke retreats, defined by a carefully considered balance between materials and atmospheric lighting. In the master bedroom, a three-dimensional geometric wall panel in light oak creates a distinctive focal point, sculpted by warm LED lighting concealed within the ceiling and beneath the floating bed frame. The reading corner features a rattan armchair with moss green cushions, while a vertical slatted wall subtly leads towards the adjoining spaces.

The second space is defined by an enveloping chromatic energy: coral-toned walls interact with a geometric pattern of wooden triangles and multicoloured accents, flowing seamlessly into the en-suite bathroom.
The visual narrative culminates in the bathrooms, conceived as sculptural spaces. The double shower is wrapped in the bold character of dark stone-effect slabs, balanced by the warmth of the floating oak vanity.
At the heart of the basement living area, rustic influences meet distinctly contemporary details: an imposing live-edge solid wood table anchors the dining area, complemented by the bold graphic impact of botanical-patterned wallcovering and minimalist seating with forest-green accents. A sculptural pendant light provides carefully balanced illumination, while the open-plan kitchen blends seamlessly into the space with matte surfaces, full-height storage units and backlit niches.

Visual continuity leads into the integrated wellness area, where natural stone creates a private and restorative setting. Through a frosted glass opening, the spa bathroom reveals an atmospheric interior defined by cyan light glowing from large, circular backlit mirrors. A monolithic freestanding basin and the clean lines of the wall-mounted fittings complete a design in which contemporary simplicity enhances the authentic character of the materials.
